       In the Scientific Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Vienna

Conferring of the order
Oficerski Krzyż Zasługi
to Dr. Raoula Kneuckera

Dr. Raoul Kneucker, head of the department for Sciences, Federal Ministry for Education, Sciences and Culture, was decorated with the Oficerski Krzyż Zasługi, which is granted by the President of the Republic of Poland, Aleksander Kwaśniewksi. In the Scientific Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Ambassador of the Polish Republic to Austria, Prof. Dr. hab. Irena Lipowicz, awarded Dr. Kneucker for his outstanding contribution related to the scientific cooperation between Austria and Poland. The violinist Katarzyna Brzoza and the pianist Halina Esders-Nieć performed the music programme of the evening.
