director of the center , who welcomed the guests.

The main part of the evening was performed by Robert Th.
Kastner. It was devoted to the current situation in Europe
in regard to the political and economic challenges
related to the extension of the European Union.
Subsequent to the lecture, a vivid discussin developed ,
led by the moderator of the evening, department chief a.D.,
Dr. Othmar Huber.
The evening
ended with a concert. Eun Nyung Erika Chun (Korea)
played pieces of Fryderyk Chopin
