between Austria and Poland
AIM
OF THE CONFERENCE
The Review Conference Ecology and
Eco-Technologies was organised by the Polish and by the Austrian
Academy of Sciences, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education,
Science and Culture, the Polish State Committee for Scientific
Research, the Museum of Natural History in Vienna and by the Club of
Polish Engineers in Austria.
It was devoted to
reviewing the current scientific results achieved so far in the
fields of Ecology and Eco-Technologies. The aim of the Conference
was also to indicate the most important research topics in Ecology
and Eco-Technologies, which should be included into the new
Austrian-Polish Agreement on Scientific and Technical Cooperation
for the next years.
The seminar was held in the mansion of the Polish Academy of
Sciences in Vienna at Boerhaavegasse 25 in the third district of the
Austrian capital.
PRESENTATION FORMS

MANUSCRIPTS DELIVERING
Only oral presentations in English were
accepted, i.e.,
invited (25 min. + 5 min for discussion),
contributed (15 min. + 5 min. for discussion), and
advertisements of the research institution (10 min). I
llustrations could be shown using an overhead projector (transparencies)
or a beamer, which were both available..

which will be established in the course of the Polish year
in Austria in the museum.

work during the conference there was
also some space left for pleasure. In a relaxed,
even merry atmosphere, by wine and a good meal the
relations were improved in Viennese reataurant
12-Apostles- Cellars.
